Bigyan Bhattarai and Sarita Lamichhane opened Everest Kala Kendra in May 2025. Children aged 5 and up learn Nepali dance here on Saturdays and Sundays.
Co-founders Bigyan Bhattarai and Sarita Lamichhane opened Everest Kala Kendra in May 2025 with a small group of students. The aim was a regular place in central Ohio to learn Nepali dance and perform it.
Within a year, the center grew to 100+ active students and held its first annual function: an evening of student performances, with families in the hall.
Acting, hosting, and music are in preparation. Dance is the program enrolling now.
